Trade with a friend! If you have a buddy who already has a Gengar (or even a Haunter), you can trade for it. Trading gets you a Pokémon without spending candies to evolve.

Gengar sometimes appears during special events or Halloween-themed spawns. Keep an eye on the in-game news and announcements for these limited-time appearances!

The best way to catch a Gengar is by evolving a Gastly into Haunter, then into Gengar. Gastly can often be found in the wild, especially during Ghost-type events! Just don't forget those Pinap Berries to double up on Candy!

Find Gengar in Raid Battles! Keep an eye out for Level 3 Raids featuring Gengar, and remember to bring your best Dark and Psychic Pokémon to take it down.

If you're a Pokemon GO! player looking for extra PokeCoins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Pokemon GO! essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
