To change blocks in Tetris Battle, hold down the 'Hold' button while the desired piece is falling. You can swap it with the piece in the 'Hold' box or use it later!

Just hit the 'Hold' button to save the current block and swap it with the one in the hold queue. Simple as that!

Honestly, you can't really change blocks in Tetris Battle. Just swap with the 'Hold' button and hope for the best.
