Oh, styling in New Leaf is super fun! You gotta hit up Shampoodle's, the in-game hair salon. It unlocks after you've had Kicks or the Able Sisters' shop open for at least 10 days. Then, spend 10,000 Bells between those stores. Harriet, the poodle hairstylist, will give you a whole questionnaire to determine your new look. Answer her questions and voilà, new hair!

Just go to Shampoodle and pay 3,000 Bells. Easy.

I remember the first time I changed my character's hairstyle in New Leaf, I was so excited! You need to unlock Shampoodle's salon, which might take a bit of time and spending in other shops first. But once it's open, you can change your hairstyle (and even eye color!) by answering some quirky questions. It's a fun way to personalize your character even more.

Honestly? Just keep the hairstyle you start with. The whole salon thing is too much hassle.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
