Changing your PS4's DNS is a breeze! Just follow these steps: Settings > Network > Set Up Internet Connection > Choose your connection type (Wi-Fi or LAN) > Custom > For DNS, choose Manual and input your preferred servers. Save and enjoy faster connections!
Alright, changing the DNS on your PS4 is pretty simple! Go to Settings > Network > Set Up Internet Connection. Choose either Wi-Fi or LAN, then select Custom. For the IP Address Settings, select Automatic. For the DHCP Host Name, select Do Not Specify. For DNS Settings, select Manual and enter your preferred DNS addresses (e.g., Google's 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4). Finish with Automatic for MTU and Do Not Use for Proxy Server. Done!
First-hand tip: Switching my PS4's DNS to Google's (8.8.8.8) improved my connection noticeably. Highly recommend!
