I tried for hours and it's impossible to change the PS3 DVD region. Save yourself the headache and get a region-free DVD player.

Once a region is set on a PS3, it's locked. If you really need to play a DVD from a different region, you might have to look into getting a region-free DVD player.

Sorry to break it to you, but you can't change the DVD region on PS3 once it's set. You'd need a region-free DVD player for that.

No way to change the region on a PS3 for DVDs, unfortunately. You鈥檙e better off getting a region-free player instead.
