Changing seasons in Animal Crossing isn't something you can do at the snap of your fingers, because the game syncs with your real-life calendar. BUT, if you're determined to experience winter in July or summer in December, you can tweak the settings on your Nintendo Switch. Go to your system settings, find the 'Date and Time' option, and manually set the date to the season you want to experience in your game. Voila, seasonal magic without the wait!

You can't just 'change seasons' like flipping a switch. The game's designed to follow the real world's calendar. Fast-forwarding time might have some quirky effects on your island, though. Proceed with caution!

No, no, no, guys. Just play as it's meant to be! You'll mess up the vibe messing with the time. Seasonal events are more special when they come at their own pace.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
