You can also change it via a web browser. Log in to your Sony account at [Sony Entertainment Network](https://id.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/id/management), go to PSN Profile, and you'll see the option to edit your Online ID. Simple as that!

Just go to Settings > Account Management. Not that hard.

Super easy! Just go to Settings > Account Management > Account Information > Profile > Online ID on your PS4 or PS5. Follow the prompts, and boom, your new name is set!

Heads up, though: some games may have issues with your new ID, so be sure to check the compatibility list on Sony's support page before changing.
