Just look at the title screen once you fire up the game on your Switch. Version number's right there in the corner. Can't miss it.

To check your Animal Crossing version, start the game on your Nintendo Switch. On the title screen, look at the top right corner. Your game's version number will be displayed there. It's the best way to make sure you're up to date with the latest updates and features!

I remember being so confused about this when I first wanted to join my friend's island for a meteor shower event. Turns out, all I had to do was start the game and there it was, right on the title screen. The version number was in the top right corner, clear as day. Made it super easy to check if I needed an update before I could join the fun!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
