To check the Proton version on your Steam Deck, just hop into Steam, head to 'Settings' > 'Steam Play' and there you'll see the current Proton version used for your games. Easy peasy!

Honestly, why bother? Just enjoy your games! The Proton version doesn't make that much of a difference unless you're troubleshooting.

Just poke around the Steam settings, it's not like it's hidden in a secret vault. 'Settings' > 'Steam Play' will show you the Proton version. Honestly, if you can navigate to start a game, you can find this.

I just checked mine last night, it's really straightforward. Go to 'Settings,' then 'Steam Play,' and boom, there's your Proton version, staring back at you.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
