Turn off your PS3, unplug it, and gently flip it over. Look for a label with a 'CECH' prefix on the bottom.

Easy-peasy! Flip your PS3 over and look at the label on the back. The model number starts with 'CECH' followed by letters and numbers.

I had to check mine too! It's on a sticker on the bottom of the console. Just find 'CECH' and you'll see your model number.
