Actually, you don't need to hunt through the app. Just hit 'Account Details' after you open the sidebar menu. Your Steam balance will smile back at you right at the top of the page. Done and dusted!

Just log in on the browser, your balance will be on display. Who uses the app anyway?

Easy peasy! Just open your Steam app, tap the three lines in the top left to open the menu, and hit 'Store'. You'll see your balance right under your name at the top. It's like finding treasure but in digital form!

Pro tip: always check your balance before a big sale hits. That way, you鈥檙e not scrambling last minute to figure it out. I learned the hard way during the Summer Sale.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
