To clean the inside of your PS4, unplug it first. Then, carefully remove the screws and open the casing. Use a can of compressed air to blow out dust, especially around the fan and vents. Be gentle and avoid touching the internal components with your hands or metal objects.

Unplug your PS4 and use a small vacuum or compressed air to remove dust from the vents. If you鈥檙e feeling brave, unscrew the casing to get to the fan and heat sink, but be careful not to void your warranty!

Just take it to a professional. Messing with the internals could void the warranty or break something.

I鈥檝e cleaned my PS4 by unplugging it, removing screws, and using compressed air outside. Make sure to be gentle and not use a vacuum directly on the components.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
