Honestly, sometimes the best fix is to just buy a lens cleaning disc. Pop it in and let it do its magic.

Open the PS3 and gently clean the laser lens inside the disc drive with a microfiber cloth and some isopropyl alcohol. Be careful not to apply too much pressure!
