I've done it with a vacuum cleaner on low suction. Just hold it near the vents and let science do the rest!

Give it a good blast with a can of compressed air through the vents! Your PS4 will thank you.

Use a soft brush to clean the vents and intake areas. A toothbrush works pretty well for this.
