Easy peasy! First, back up any data you want to keep. Then, go to Settings > System Settings > Restore PS3 System. This will factory reset it and wipe all personal data.

Been there, done that! Trust me, just navigate to Settings, then System Settings, and hit Restore PS3 System. Make sure to backup first, tho!
