To climb up cliffs in Animal Crossing, you'll need a Ladder! You get the DIY recipe for a ladder as you progress through the game, specifically after you've invited new villagers to your island. Tom Nook will give you the recipe, and you can craft it using wood you gather around the island. Once you have your ladder, just equip it and press 'A' when facing a cliff to climb up or down.

Just grab a ladder, folks! You can't climb cliffs in Animal Crossing without it. Short, sweet, and to the point.

I remember the first time I tried to get to the higher ground without a ladder, thinking I could just jump or find another way up. Spoiler: didn't work. You definitely need a ladder, which becomes available as you progress in the game. Building it was a game-changer for exploring and finding all sorts of cool stuff on my island!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
