Just press the PS button, hover over the game, hit Options, and choose Close Game. Boom, done!

You don't need to close games. Just switch to another one!

Pressing the PS button, highlighting the game, hitting Options, and selecting Close Game works for me every time.

Hold the PS button, go to the game, press Options, select Close Game. I've done it a million times, never fails!
