Unfortunately, you can't directly use a PS3 controller on a PS4 without some extra hardware. However, using a third-party adapter like the Brook Super Converter, you can get your PS3 controller up and running on a PS4. Just plug the adapter into the PS4, then connect your PS3 controller to the adapter, and you're good to go!

Simply put, you can't connect a PS3 controller to a PS4 directly. You'd need a specialized adapter. I've used the CronusMAX PLUS adapter, and it works pretty well. It takes a bit of setup, but once you get it configured, you can use your PS3 controller on your PS4 without any hiccups.

You can鈥檛 just pair a PS3 controller with a PS4. Adapters exist, but they鈥檙e not flawless.

I鈥檝e tried connecting my old PS3 controller to my PS4, and it didn鈥檛 work. I ended up buying an adapter that did the trick. If you want to save some cash and use your old controller, that鈥檚 the way to go!

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
