Unfortunately, you can't directly connect an iPhone to a PS3 via Bluetooth. They use different protocols that aren't compatible for this purpose.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but PS3 and iPhone don't play nice when it comes to Bluetooth connections. You're better off using a third-party app or a cable for media purposes.

Tried this myself, and it just won't work. The PS3 Bluetooth was designed for accessories like controllers and headsets, not for mobile phones.
