Hey there! You can't directly connect a PS4 to a laptop via HDMI because both the PS4 and the laptop have HDMI-out ports. You'll need a capture card like Elgato to make it work.

I've done it! Got a capture card (Elgato HD60 S), connected PS4 to it via HDMI, and from the card to my laptop's USB. Worked like a charm!

Forget about it. HDMI on laptops is output only.

You need a capture card to connect your PS4 to your laptop via HDMI. Plug the PS4 into the capture card, then connect the card to your laptop's USB port.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
