First, connect the first PS5 controller using the USB cable and press the PS button. Then, hold down the PS button on the second controller until it syncs. Both should light up and be ready to use.

You can also add the second controller through Settings. Go to 'Accessories,' then 'General,' and 'Bluetooth Accessories.' Put the second controller in pairing mode, and select it on the screen.

Just plug the second controller into the other USB port and press the PS button. Easy peasy!

From my experience, just press and hold the PS button on the second controller until it syncs with the console. If your console is on, it should work without a hitch.
