So, you wanna pair your Xbox Series X controller with your Steam Deck, right? Easy peasy! Just turn on your Steam Deck and go to the Bluetooth settings. Make sure your Xbox controller is in pairing mode (hold the pairing button on top till the Xbox button starts flashing). Then, on your Steam Deck, look for the controller in the list of available devices and select it to pair. Boom! You're good to go.

Honestly, why bother? The built-in controls are way better for Steam Deck gaming IMHO. But you do you!

Just plug the Xbox controller into the Steam Deck using a USB-C cable. Sometimes the old-school way is the easiest.
