How to Craft Combat Armor in Fallout 76

Protip: Focus on quests and events in the Savage Divide. Lots of plans for combat armor drop there. Crafted my full set just by roaming around and shooting stuff. The materials can be a bit of a grind, but it’s worth it for that sweet, sweet protection.

Crafting combat armor in Fallout 76 is pretty straightforward once you've got the plans. First, find yourself a workbench. If you don't have the plans for combat armor yet, you can snag them from treasure maps, events, or even certain vendors. Once you've got the plans, make sure you've gathered enough materials (think ballistic fiber, leather, plastic, steel, etc.). Then, simply head over to the armor workbench, select the piece of combat armor you want to create, and start crafting. Remember, higher levels of the armor require more materials and a higher armorer perk, so level up!
