To chop down trees in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, you'll need two main things: an axe and some muscle! First, buy an axe from the garden shop. Then, just stand in front of the tree you want to remove and swing that axe. It usually takes three good whacks to bring a tree down. Remember, trees won't grow back once you cut them down, so think carefully before you start swinging!

Just get an axe and hit the tree 3 times. Easy peasy.

As a huge Animal Crossing fan, I'll add a little tip: make sure you're chopping the right trees! Lost a perfect fruit tree by accident once. Not fun. Get that axe, position yourself in front of the tree, and whack away till it falls. Also, there's a silver axe that cuts down trees in one hit but it's kinda rare.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
