Deleting a character in Animal Crossing: New Horizons is actually pretty simple! Just boot up the game and hit the '-' button on the Switch controller during the title screen. This will take you to the settings where Tom Nook appears to assist. Choose the 'Save Data Settings' option, and then 'Delete Resident Registration' to pick the character you want to wipe out. After confirming, your character will say goodbye to island life forever. Remember, this can't be undone, so make sure you're ready to part ways!

If you're looking to declutter your island, deleting an extra character in ACNH is the way to go. Just press '-' on the title screen, dive into 'Save Data Settings', and Tom Nook will guide you through axing that unwanted villager.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
