To delete a house, you just need to start the game and hit the '-' button. Tom Nook will walk you through the steps. Easy peasy, but make sure you really want to delete it because there's no going back.

Deleting a house in Animal Crossing is pretty straightforward but heart-wrenching. If you're playing New Horizons, just press the '-' button on the Switch during the title screen to access the settings. Tom Nook should appear to assist you, then choose 'Save data settings', and pick the resident you wish to remove. Follow Nook鈥檚 guidance, and soon, the house will be gone. Remember, this is permanent, so be sure you want to say goodbye to that resident!

Honestly, why would you want to delete a house? Each character adds something special to your island's charm! But if you must, the '-' button on your Nintendo Switch during the title screen is your first step. Just remember, once they're gone, they're gone for good.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
