You can't delete a whole podcast series, but you can remove individual episodes from your library by tapping the download or saved icon.
Quick fix: Just un-follow the podcast and your library magically gets cleaner.
I've done this鈥攋ust go to the episode, tap the three dots, and select 'Remove' or 'Delete' from the options. It works every time!
