Honestly, why delete? I regretted it big time. Ended up starting over and missing my old island. Think about it!

Deleting your Animal Crossing island is a big step! But if you're sure, you gotta start the game and press the '-' button on the Switch during the title screen to access the settings. Tom Nook will show up and give you a few options – choose the one about deleting your island. Remember, this wipes everything, so make sure you really wanna say goodbye to your little paradise!

Go for it if you need a fresh start, but this erases EVERYTHING. No going back. Press '-' on the title screen and follow the prompts to delete.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
