Nah, clearing cache is overrated. Steam manages its cache pretty well on its own. If you're not experiencing issues, why bother?

Easiest way to clear Steam's cache? Open up Steam, head over to 'Settings' or 'Preferences' if you're on a Mac, click on the 'Downloads' tab, and you'll see a button that says 'CLEAR DOWNLOAD CACHE.' Hit that, log back into Steam, and bam, cache cleared. Your games will thank you for the spring cleaning!

Actually, clearing your cache can sometimes fix random Steam issues. It's like giving your Steam a fresh start without reinstalling everything. Worked for me when I had download issues.

Just delete the cache folder manually if you don't trust the button. Go to where Steam is installed, find the 'appcache' folder, and delete it. Steam will create a new one next time it starts. Note: this is a bit more hands-on and not recommended unless you know what you're doing.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
