How to Disable Big Picture Mode on Steam
Easy peasy! Open Steam, click on the 'View' menu at the top, then select 'Settings' from the dropdown. In the Settings window, go to the 'Interface' tab. You'll see a checkbox for 'Start Steam in Big Picture Mode' - just uncheck that bad boy and click 'OK.' Restart Steam, and voila, no more Big Picture mode!

Honestly, just don't use Big Picture Mode. Go to settings > Interface and uncheck the 'Start Steam in Big Picture Mode' option. Save your changes. Done.
Real talk, I tried Big Picture mode once and never again. Went to Settings > Interface, unticked the start in Big Picture mode, and I was back to normal. Best decision ever.
