You can also disable chat by adding a LocalScript to the StarterPlayerScripts that sets the 'StarterGui:SetCoreGuiEnabled(Enum.CoreGuiType.Chat, false)'.

Why disable chat? Just mute the annoying players or restrict chat through settings, way simpler!

To disable chat in Roblox Studio, just go to 'Explorer' -> 'Chat' and uncheck the 'Enabled' option. Boom, no more chat!

Don't want to mess with scripts? Just delete the Chat service from 'Explorer'. Easy peasy.
