Simple! Just open your Steam client and click on 'Steam' in the upper left corner, then go to 'Settings'. Click on the 'In-Game' tab and you'll see a checkbox for 'Enable the Steam Overlay while in-game'. Just uncheck that box, hit 'OK', and voila, no more overlay!

Pro tip: Remember to check game-specific settings too! Some games have their own overlay options that might override the general Steam settings. So if you're still seeing the overlay after disabling it in Steam, take a peek in the game's settings just in case.

I just keep it on, tbh. It's super useful for screenshots and chatting without alt-tabbing. But hey, to each their own!

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
