Just be aware that disassembling your PS4 could void your warranty. If you still want to proceed, follow a detailed guide or video tutorial for step-by-step instructions. Good luck!

First, make sure the PS4 is unplugged. Then, remove the warranty stickers on the back and unscrew the four Torx screws. Slide off the cover, and you鈥檒l have access to most of the internal components.

Look, if you can't fix it with a good ol' restart, maybe it's time to call in a pro. Disassembly isn't for everyone!

I鈥檝e done this a couple of times. Trust me, take your time and have the right tools handy. Patience is key here!

Honestly, paying a professional to do it is worth it. You don't want to risk damaging anything inside.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
