Oh, it's super easy to get the 2.0 update for Animal Crossing! Just make sure your Nintendo Switch is connected to the internet. Then, with the game closed, press the '+' button on your Joy-Con or Pro Controller while highlighting the game on the Home menu. Go to 'Software Update', then 'Via the Internet', and voila, your game should start updating if it hasn't already done so automatically. Just make sure you've got enough space for the update!

Honestly, the game usually updates itself if you've got auto-update enabled on your Switch. If not, just follow the steps to update it manually. And remember, always have enough free space!

Tried updating and still no luck? Make sure your Switch's system software is up to date. Sometimes, that's the trick.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
