How to download games on Steam Deck with the screen off

Unfortunately, it's not officially supported to download games on the Steam Deck with the screen off. The Steam Deck, like many devices, requires the screen to be on to navigate and manage downloads. A workaround could be to adjust the screen's brightness to the lowest setting to save power during downloads.

The only way to download games with the screen off is to not. The Steam Deck needs the screen on to manage those downloads, folks!

Turn the brightness down if battery life during downloads is a concern. Screen off isn't an option, but that's the next best thing!
