Smashing rocks, but don't eat fruit beforehand! Eating fruit makes you super strong, and if you hit a rock while you're all hulked out, you'll smash it to pieces, losing out on the day's iron ore. So, remember: fruit is a no-go when you're on the hunt for iron.

Hitting rocks! Seriously, grab your shovel or axe and start whacking those rocks scattered around your island. Each day, you can hit each rock multiple times, but there's a trick to it. If you dig two holes behind you before you start hitting the rock, you won't get knocked back and can hit the rock up to 8 times for maximum goodies. Iron ore, here we come!

Mystery islands are your best friend for iron ore. Use a Nook Miles ticket to fly off to a new island and you'll usually find several rocks to hit for resources. I've stocked up on tons of iron this way, especially when I'm preparing for a big project or trying to build something new.

Buy it. If you're really stuck, sometimes other players will sell iron ore on various Animal Crossing forums or trading sites. It might cost you some bells, but it's an option if you're in a hurry.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
