To find the x-intercept of the slope-intercept form (y=mx+b), set y to 0, and solve for x. So, 0 = mx + b becomes x = -b/m. Easy peasy!

Just set y to zero in the equation y=mx+b and solve for x. It'll give you x=-b/m.

Trust me, I've done this a million times. You just put y to 0 in y=mx+b. Then, solve the equation x = -b/m. Simple!

Set y to 0 and solve for x. That's it.
