If your PS3 is bricked, you can try a hard reset by holding down the power button until it shuts off. Then, hold it down again until you hear two quick beeps. This might get you to the Safe Mode menu where you can choose to restore the file system or rebuild the database.

First, try accessing Safe Mode by holding the power button until you hear two beeps, then select 'Restore File System' or 'Rebuild Database' options. If that doesn't work, you might need to reinstall the PS3 firmware via USB. Make sure you have a backup of your data!

Honestly, sometimes the best bet for a bricked PS3 is to take it to a professional. You don鈥檛 want to make things worse by fiddling around!

Been there, done that. Try connecting a USB drive with the latest firmware update, then booting in Safe Mode to reinstall it. Worked like a charm for me!

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
