How to Fix a PS4 Controller L2 Button?
Had the same issue last week! Opened up the controller (small Philips screwdriver needed) and found the spring inside the L2 button had slipped out of place. Popped it back in and good as new. Just be careful with the tiny parts!

Just buy a new controller. They're not that expensive, and you won't risk making things worse.
Honestly, sometimes just giving the button a few firm presses and wiggling it around can work wonders. If that doesn't help, you might need a replacement part.
Try gently blowing some compressed air around the L2 button to clear out any dust or debris. Sometimes it鈥檚 just a simple fix!
