First, make sure your headset is properly plugged in and not loose. Then, go to Settings > Devices > Audio Devices and adjust the microphone level. Also, lowering the volume of your TV speakers or switching to headset-only audio can help reduce echo.

I had the same issue! Changing the chat audio from 'Chat Audio' to 'All Audio' in the settings fixed it for me. You can find it under Settings > Devices > Audio Devices > Output to Headphones.

Make sure no one else in the room is using a loudspeaker near a mic. Sometimes, a second mic picks up the sound and creates an echo.

Hot take: It's probably your internet connection. A delayed signal can create that annoying echo. Try rebooting your router.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
