Go to Settings > Sound Settings, and ensure the correct audio output format is selected. If you're using HDMI, set the 'Audio Output Settings' to HDMI and ensure your TV is not muted.

First, make sure your HDMI or AV cables are properly connected. Certain sound settings on the PS3 may also need adjusting, so check your audio output settings in the Sound Settings menu. If that doesn't work, try restarting the console; sometimes a simple reboot does the trick!

Just restart your PS3. Fixed it for me multiple times!

Check both the console and TV volume settings. You'd be surprised how often the issue is just a muted TV!

Try using a different HDMI/AV cable. Sometimes the cables can be faulty, and switching them out has worked for me.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
