I've had this issue before and found that recalibrating the controller through the PS3 settings menu helped. Go to 'Settings', then 'Accessory Settings', and follow the calibration instructions.

First, try resetting the controller by pressing the small reset button on the back with a pin or paperclip. If that doesn't work, you might need to open it up and clean around the analog stick with some rubbing alcohol and a cotton swab.

Honestly, if the analog stick is drifting, it's usually just worn out. Consider getting a new controller; it might save you a lot of headaches in the long run.

Quick fix that worked for me: blow some compressed air around the analog stick to dislodge any dust or debris. Worth a shot before trying more drastic measures!

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
