First, you can try resetting the controller by pressing the small reset button on the back with a paperclip. If that doesn't work, open up the controller by unscrewing the back and check if the L2 button is stuck or if the spring is out of place. You might need to realign it or replace the button if it's damaged.

I had the same issue. I fixed it by opening the controller and cleaning the area around the L2 button with a bit of isopropyl alcohol. Dust and gunk can jam it up.

Honestly, just buy a new one. Controllers aren't that expensive nowadays, and a new one will save you the hassle. Plus, who doesn't love that new controller feel?

Tapping the L2 button a few times quickly might help if it's stuck. Sometimes it's just a quick fix!

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
