How to Fix XCOM 2 Sound Crackling During Cutscenes

Hey! Try switching your audio output to 16-bit, 48000 Hz in your sound settings. Worked like a charm for me!
Tbh, I just play with subtitles on and keep my sound off during cutscenes. Might not be a fix, but it's a workaround!
Reinstalling the game has been the only thing that worked for me after trying everything else.
You might want to update your audio drivers. Sometimes outdated drivers cause weird issues like this.
