Easy peasy: connect the PS3 HDD to your PC and use Disk Management. Format it to NTFS or FAT32—whichever floats your boat!

Been there, done that! Just grab a SATA-to-USB adapter, hook that drive up, and fire up Disk Management on your PC. Format as NTFS and you're golden!

Hot take: just buy a new HDD and save your time.

First, connect your PS3 hard drive to your PC using a SATA-to-USB adapter. Open Disk Management, find the drive, right-click and select 'Format' to choose the desired file system. Remember to select NTFS for a regular PC use case.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
