You need to save up some in-game money and visit the Wood R Us store to purchase the larger Utility Vehicle XL.
I remember upgrading my truck to the Utility Vehicle XL - it cost quite a bit, but totally worth it for the extra space!
Why bother with trucks? Run a lumber conveyor system instead. It's way more efficient!
