Just keep hitting those mystery islands! Sooner or later, one of those cats is bound to show up. It's all RNG, so cross your fingers and hope the next Nook Miles Ticket lands you your purrfect neighbor.

Getting a cat villager in Animal Crossing is pretty straightforward but involves a bit of luck! You can meet new villagers by visiting mystery islands using Nook Miles Tickets. If you run into a cat villager there, chat with them and invite them to your island! Another way is to wait for a cat villager to visit your campsite. If you have an empty plot, you can persuade them to stay. Lastly, you can trade with friends or use Amiibo cards to specifically invite your favorite feline friend.

Honestly, just save yourself the trouble and get an Amiibo card of the cat villager you want. It's way easier than leaving it up to chance with mystery islands or the campsite.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
