Wait, why do we even need a donation box? Just enjoy the game and make bells the good ol' fashioned way - catch some fish, find fossils, or sell fruit! The donation box is overrated IMO.

In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, to get a donation box, you first need to unlock the DIY recipe. You can do this by redeeming Nook Miles at the Nook Stop terminal in Resident Services. Once you have the recipe, you just need to gather the required materials to craft it - which usually involves some wood and iron nuggets. Then, voila! You've got yourself a donation box to place wherever you like on your island.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
