Spin the Poke Ball in a circular motion before you throw it. Aim slightly to the side of the Pokemon and let 'er rip! Accuracy takes practice, so don't give up!

Curveball pro tip: Hold the ball, spin it, and throw it when the circle is at its smallest for double the points. Got my first Pikachu this way!
