Honestly, just run at them and swing your net wildly. It works 1 out of 10 times but it's hilarious.

Catching a scorpion in Animal Crossing: New Horizons can feel like a mini heart attack, but it's totally worth it! First things first, scorpions only appear between May and October in the Northern Hemisphere, and November to April in the Southern Hemisphere. They only come out at night, from 7 PM to 4 AM. Here's a pro tip: walk slowly towards the scorpion with your net raised. If it raises its claws, stop moving until it lowers them, then continue. Strike when the moment's right!

If you ask me, the real trick is to clear out a space on your island, so you have fewer places for them to hide. Makes spotting them way easier, and then you can do the slow creep with your net.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
